Name: Nara Clan 奈良一族, Nara Ichizoku

Location: Hyougakure
History: The Nara clan has a special relationship with the Akimichi and the Yamanaka clan. For several generations, members of these three families have formed "Ino–Shika–Chō" trios, named after the first part of the names of the members with the Nara members being the "Shika" in the trio. To strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the Sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation head when they are promoted to chūnin after which they will swear their oaths. The earrings also symbolize that they are considered adults by their respective clans. Men of the nara clan also seem to favor wearing their hair in ponytails.
The Nara family kept a book with various medicine preparations and effects for generations, implying that they are skilled in the area of medicine and healing arts. Among the medicine described in this book are even the secret pills used by the Akimichi clan. This book is hidden away in the Nara Clan Forest
Special Info: Nara have a sensory link with their shadows and do not necessarily have to see their target to know that the person has made contact with their shadow. They are the only ninja known to be able to freely manipulate shadows.
Requirements: Must be born into the clan. Can be exiled from the Nara Clan forest for committing unethical acts.

Description: Members of the Nara family are known for their intelligence. Many of the best strategists and thinkers in the world are in some way related to the family. Members are quick on their feet and able to analyze and react to situations swiftly. Members also have access special ninjutsu that entails the complete control and manipulation of shadows by advanced manipulation of one of the two core types of chakra: Yin Release.
Members of the clan gain a plus 10 to their chakra stat and a plus 25 to their speed stat in regards to jutsu speed and reaction speed, but not in regards to their physical speed.

Clan Special Characteristics: Members of this clan naturally have a strong affinity for yin based jutsu such as genjutsu. Yin based techniques are considered one rank higher when used by members of the Nara clan. This SC only scales up to S Rank unless the Nara member choose to opt in to Limiteds for their clan jutsu.
