• Appearance: Yemon looks weak an unassuming, like someone who could easily  get lost in the background and never be seen again.  He is usually unkempt and has a look of being perpetually haunted.  His eyes roll lazily because he can't use them and he often times is dressed in something different, preferring to not keep much aside from his glasses due to his job.  He prefers clothing that is draped but still easy to move in because he can use  it as a distraction and because he can feel it when it touches things.

• Personality: Yemon is a ghost in a swarm of chaos.   His actions are chosen based simply on how weird they are.  Between this weirdness, and his personal addiction to being a self-proclaimed KleptoMANCER, are the two most defining factors of the blind man.  Yemon lives in dripping sarcasm, confusion and overall misdirection.  He wins arguments like he wins fights, with wits, guile, cunning and a lot of luck.  He can't take anything but whatever he's hunting down seriously and tends to care little about what others think simply because he can't relate to them.  He finds humor everywhere he can and doesn't often get goaded into anything because he just isn't that emotionally attached.  It's a combination of a defense mechanism and years of training and mental fortitude.

• Hobbies: Yemon has four, Tea making, playing the bass, itojutsu, and stalking.  He has been playing the bass since he was a child, same with ito style sword combat.  The stalking came from when he began hunting people for the Samurai, and his old swordmaster forced the tea making onto him.  Though he enjoys it now.

• History:
Yemon was adopted by an engineer and a blacksmith.  Other than that, Yemon's childhood was relatively uneventful, he enrolled in samurai training when he was seven, and didn't graduate until he was twelve. During this time he first learned of his addiction to the five-finger discount and his natural knack for it.   He also seemed to have a knack for finding people.

Yemon made his way through military school at a slow pace, preferring to hang around with his mothers and cut classes more often than not. He really didn't find much joy in listening to people super-impose their beliefs on him simply because Yemon didn't find things like that enjoyable. What he did like was the idea of being a hunter.  Changing appearances, pretending to be someone else and finding someone then doing really violent things to them.  It was a thrill like stealing for him and lead him further down the trail.

Samurai training was difficult for Yemon, after all he was blind.  Though he was determined to be just as good as everyone else.  Plus, unlike all those ninja he didn't need a ton of crutches to do basic things.  He would practice longer and harder than others but maintained a very streamlined work ethic that allowed rest and recuperation.  Yemon learned his limits faster than others and how to work them effectively because he didn't have a ton of other things to think about.

Yemon was promoted to samurai field agent after his sixteenth birthday.  Before which he had been serving as a bodyguard and generic samurai infantry officer while he continued his hunter training.    When he wasn’t learning how to steal from anyone and everything around himself he spent his time learning from his mothers.

By twenty, Yemon had been serving as an hunter in just about everywhere in the ninja world.  Moving from place to place as a vagrant musician, he was promoted a number of times internally but it wasn’t like he had anyone to talk about it to.  His reputation grew, though no one believed it and only the Kage knew anything about the blind swordsman who would drag people back to the village dead or alive.  Though usually in very violent ways.


• RP Sample:
Yemon was wandering through the village with his cane in front of him, tapping lightly at the ground.  Though he didn't need the thing it was there for reassurance and mainly to tell others to get out of his way.  So sue him, Yemon didn't like pandering to others.  He let out a breath with a soft word as he listened to the sound come back to his ears slowly, looking a little further than the cane usually afforded him.  Yemon, was blind, and those looking directly at him, when he had the cane for it's real purpose, couldn't tell.  A young man passed him and Yemon decided to relieve him of the watch he was carrying as he continued down the street.

The city was bright, it lit up a bit when the sun reflected off the glaciers and crystals that had formed it, and while young ninja ran along the tops of buildings and jumped further than tall buildings, Yemon and most samurai preferred to relax, take in the art and enjoy things at a much less furious pace.  He made his way down the street and got a few comments about being blind as he did so, though he ignored them, before stopping in front of the Kage's building.  With a soft flourish he spun around and slunked inside the door.  He waited in the waiting room, noting to the young ninja there that someone had forgotten a watch and handing it to her.  While Yemon was the king of kleptomaniacs, he did it for sport, not to do it.  He then tapped his sword cane slowly and waited.  Unlike others, Yemon didn't get meetings with the Kage, they were too cool for samurai, so Yemon simply waited for the version of the bingo book that he got printed specifically for his blind self and would move on.

The young ninja brought it out a few minutes later and Yemon thanked them before sliding it into his bag and leaving, off to find someone else to do really nasty and violent things to in the name of justice or something.
